My first prenatal appointment

I have my first appointment on the 5th I am 5 weeks and 5 days today. I was talking to my mother in law over the weekend and I had shown her a picture of my belly and she thinks I’m further along? But it could just be bloat? Also we were talking about how my last period was very weird not like any other period so we were thinking maybe it was implantation. She thinks I should call my doctor and tell them that to see if I need to be seen sooner. Do you think I should just wait till my appointment and they will just tell me how far along I am then or should I call?
