What to do with pets while in labor?

I have 3 dogs (115lb mastiff/malinois, 85lb pitbull and 30lb basenji/shiba) and am due Dec 17. What did y’all do with your pets while in the hospital? Did y’all have someone come to your house to let them out or did you take them somewhere? Im not sure if it would be better/more comfortable for them to stay home and just have someone come let them out or what. I have to deliver at a hospital that’s 45mins away so it wouldn’t be easy for my hubby to come back and let them out and he definitely doesn’t want to leave me or our son.

If there's a family member or friend that your pets are use to, then I'd have someone come to your house to spend time with to dogs and let them out. If there's no one that you know that is use to your pets, then I'd board the pets for a couple days.

My mom is flying out to help take care of our mini zoo (6 animals). I’m delivering at the hospital 2 hours away, so it’s be super hard for my husband to go back and forth while I’m recovering from the c section and a high risk pregnancy (plus any potential issues with munchkin)

My husband just checked on our dog until his dad came watched him for 4 days. We live 7 minutes from the hospital though.

Our plan is to have my in-laws stop by the house to take care of our dog and chickens if needed.
