How lonely is it with just two kids (1 sibling)?

I'm the oldest of 6 and love the energy and company of having so many siblings. I currently have a 5 year old daughter and a 1.5 years old daughter, and my husband travels so it's just me. I think I could handle one more but don't know if I want to mess with their dynamic.

I grew up with one sister. We are 19 months apart. Definitely would not consider that lonely but we also grew up on 30 acres with 3 cousins on the same land so it wasn't just us two until we were 12-13. I did sometimes wish I had a brother as a kid because I'm a tomboy and my sister is a girly girl but I was never lonely with my sister and we are still close and have kids close in age (mine are 5, 4, 2, and coming soon) and hers are 7 and 3.

I have one sister and I was not lonely as a child, we played together all the time and now as adults talk every day. We even live across the country from each other but we are very close.
