Sniffles 4 month old
Hey lovely mommas! My LO has had some sniffles and a light cough, and these are the items that have helped baby out. I attached some screenshots in case anyone would like to give these a try! Hopefully this helps ❤️
What are some tips/tricks you've learned along the way with your LO?
The elderberry syrup is for babies 4 MONTHS AND OLDER. It is a natural, organic syrup with a bit of ginger root, elderberry, agave, agave, elm bark, ivy leaf, and vitamin c.
The snot sucker works too. I find that the smaller tip holds on to smaller, harder-to-reach boogers better, while the bigger tip covers the whole nostril for broader reach. Short, intermittent suctioning is recommended. Remember to give your little one a break from it too.
***Cherry-flavored tylenol (there's also grape-flavored) CONSULT WITH YOUR PEDIATRICIAN BEFORE ADMINISTERING TYLENOL TO ENSURE YOUR LITTLE ONE WILL RECEIVE THE CORRECT DOSAGE
There are other chest rubs out there but I find this one easiest to carry in my diaper bag. This one has lavender and eucalyptus, which can help with congestion. It's menthol-free, petroleum-free, and 100% natural. REGULAR/ADULT VAPOR RUB, MENTHOLATUM, AND SIMILAR OINTMENTS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER TWO, AS THEY CAN IRRITATE THE SKIN AND THE NASAL PASSAGES, THUS PRODUCING MORE MUCUS WHICH CAN POTENTIALLY OBSTRUCT BREATHING.
