*vent* baby up all night, husband off work

So my 15 month old baby has been battling a sever ear infection since Monday. High temperatures, crying all day, waking often at night and needing held to go back to sleep. It's been awful he's been in antibiotics since Tues with no relief yet. So today my husband is off work today, last night the baby was waking up a lot at about 1 am I had been trying to pat him back to sleep for about 10 minutes and it was not working so usually at that point we go and sleep in a bed together in a separate room so I tried to tell my husband that he should do that since I had to go to work today, (I only work 4 hours A-day a couple of days a week days a week) so he proceeded to say What you can just call off because your job doesn't matter anyways not like you need it. Now I am just working to get out of the house and to have a little bit of "my own spending money" but it really made me mad. He can't sacrifice a few hours of sleep to let me catch up when he is OFF today. Very inconsiderate.
