What is the worst/grossest thing your kid ever ate or put in their mouth?

I’ll start. She ate pieces of an arborvitae tree (harmful to consume) & put a screw in her mouth. 🫣 She is fine, thank goodness. Just can’t wait until this phase of eating everything passes.

Not actually my kid but my sister when she was a baby… she was found with a slug in her mouth. My kids haven’t topped that yet.

Cat poop. She had just started to crawl & my dog had a bad habit of taking the cats poo out of the litter box & leaving it in other random places like the hallway to my daughter’s bedroom. I was in the living room & was slow to get up & follow her as she crawled toward the hallway. I got there right as she was lifting it towards her mouth & had the total slow motion “Nooooooooo!” as I dove for her & swooped it out of her mouth. I thoroughly cleaned out her mouth & cleaned off her hands & realized I would need to always scan the carpet before putting her down to crawl. 🤦‍♀️ Definitely not my finest moment as a parent.

We have mastiff and they tend to drool... a lot!! Their mouths are just nasty lol.  Well our youngest once grabbed the dogs favorite rubber bone that was just in the dogs mouth, and put it in his. It wasn't in his mouth very long luckily, however it did feel like everything was slow motion from me noticing to telling him no icky! And when he did take it out he had dog drool/wetness all over his mouth it was so so gross. Pretty sure he swallowed some dog spit lol. 🤮
