how come bf is never specific with me?

he says he is out with his friend in LA. but he doesnt tell me he went to halloween horror nights with him. 
this is the second time he did this. he once told me that he was out with his dad which is why he couldnt help me the next morning with my brother's college move in, but he didn't tell me he was at a twenty one pilots concert
is this normal or is he trying to hide this from me?

He’s just not trying to have you say, “Aw I wanted to go to that with you” and then he has to move his plans or pay to go again with you. I dk but that’s my guess.

Not normal. He's going out having fun and purposely not telling you or inviting you. If he wanted to actually have a relationship with you he wouldn't lie to you and sneak around. Your obviously not important to him. You deserve better. Get rid of him.
