Ready to try for a baby

I am currently on birth control and are looking to start trying out for our first child in February as just trying to get some things out of the way and done first I am on birth control and just concerned that birth control can take a while to get out of my system how long did it take for y’all to get pregnant after stopping birth control pills.

Sidenote my mother has two children that she has got pregnant with while on the pill. She can miss one or two pills and be pregnant.
