Bf of 8 years (44yo) tells me (29yo) to come home straight after work.

For more context. I work 8pm to midnight and he's already in bed when I get home, as I have an hour long commute.

He is always pushing me to "give less to my work space because they don't care about me so why should I care about my workplace"

so after work I gather my stuff, I throw away my garbage and I go to the toilet. (I am a very nervous driver and I absolutely need to go before driving) and I take the 5 flights of stairs down to ground floor, for my own personal health. He tells me it's taking too much time and I should go to the toilet and clean up my garbage before my shift is over iso after.

I honestly don't care and I prefer to work until the end of my shift.. It's not like I'm not allowed to.. I prefer to do it after my shift. It's taking me about 30 minutes to get from my workplace in the office to my car in a mentally comfortable position to be able to drive.

I honestly feel like my boyfriend is trying to control and even limit the time I spend away from him.. but I might be wrong about that.

I do spend time away with friends - If I take my kid and they take theirs.. I haven't met up with anyone without kids probably in the last 5 years. (our kid is 2yo)
