Is this disrespectful to you?

I’ve been seeing this guy for a while and normally he texts/calls me every day. I don’t expect him to, he just does and that’s what our communication has been like. Well I hadn’t heard from him for a couple days which is weird so Sunday I text him “hey I haven’t heard much from you. Is everything okay?” And he responded “ I’m not constantly glued to my phone. Deal with it.” I thought that was rude. I just said “ okay I get that but don’t talk to me that way” and he said “just did”. I feel like he’s being disrespectful. I responded with

“I have never disrespected you and won’t tolerate disrespect towards me”

and he never responded but called me a few minutes ago and I accidentally missed the call. Should I even call him back or just leave it as it is and move on? He sometimes makes rude comments like this and then later tells me I just don’t get his humor.

I have a hard time seeing when people are treating me wrong and know you ladies are normally super helpful and honest with advice on this stuff so thanks in advance
