C section experiences?

I will be having a planned c section due to complications with my first birth. I'm really nervous because I've never done this before. How did it go for you?

i felt great by day 5 post op. day 3 when i came home i was able to do all my normal tasks alone minus heavy lifting or wild bending.

It really wasn’t that bad. I never needed to take anything stronger than 800mg Motrin. But if you need the stronger meds it’s okay to take them. I
slept in my recliner the first few days home because my stomach was weak, and I made sure to put a pillow on my belly when I coughed or sneezed or laughed. Get high waisted pants and undies. Use the belly binder they give you and try not to over do it. i felt pretty much normal by 3 weeksish post op.

Some people it goes great and they recover fine. Other women (like me) it’s a horrible traumatic experience before, during, and after. 🤷🏼‍♀️
