A vaginal birth after having a C-section ?

I switched over to a different OB-GYN and they can’t except me because no provider there has done a C-section . What!! I’ve heard from other woman that you can have a vaginal birth after having a c-section already. My first born was just breached that was it . I didn’t have medical problems as to why I needed one . It was an emergency one . They said it’s safer just to have another with my 2nd . I don’t believe it . I don’t understand how it’s “safer” . They didn’t even ask why I had one in the first place .
