Question

Would you recommend to help soothe a baby? I see it all being advertised all over. Just curious.

I'm assuming that is the same as like a rice or wheat bag you would use for sore muscles? I used our rice bags to warm up my baby's crib before putting her down at night but it didn't stay in her crib.

I had one for myself and it wasn’t until my son was around 2 I started letting him have it warmed up to sleep with. Prior to that, he didn’t have anything like that when he was sleeping in his crib and I didn’t like the weight of it for the car seat. He now has his own and he sleeps with it every night. My daughter has one she was given as a gift. She’ll be two in November and just started sleeping with a pillow. It’s on her shelf until she’s older.

Answer

You can buy one to use to warm up the area before laying baby down, but you can’t leave it in the crib/bassinet/car seat with the baby. Nothing in the crib is safe for sleep
