Anyone still suffering Constipation?

I'm 27 weeks and still suffer from painful constipation. I am taking 1 stool softener a day but now my Dr wants me taking 1 in the morning and 1 at night. I'm so over this.

Try taking a magnesium supplement! I've had terrible constipation this whole pregnancy. Tried everything under the sun. My doula recommended extra magnesium and it's been working wonderfully

Constipation hit me a few weeks ago (I’m 23 weeks) and it was miserable to say the least. I dread the idea of a hemorrhoid or fissure. I’m taking an OTC stool softener twice a day (1 in the am and 1 in the pm) along with half a cup of coffee in the morning. Things are smooth sailing now! 👍🏻💩

I second Magnesium. Take the powder form that you put in hot water, CALM, and it will work quickly. Start with about 1 tsp once a day. 
It also helps for sleep, leg cramps and stress.

I’m 22wks and take 2 colace daily and a capful of miralax in 8oz of Gatorade and still end up constipated sometimes lol. I have IBS-C though so I’m used to taking something every day to help.

Try having a serving of Spirulina and also one of chlorella. My midwife is a wisewoman n she said keep taking one serving a day throughout pregnancy. It s like eating a huge salad that contains alot of nutrients including some omega n protein. Also the quality prenatal you take matters. Try New Chapter. They re a bit pricey but totally worth it bc they use the highest quality iron which helps keep constipation away..plus they chiropractor. a probiotic n greens too. Rainbow is a similar brand but cheaper..Google the Iron in NY pills plus there was a recent study that uncovered that target wal mart m grocery stores have many supplements sold that don't even contain what they say they do...I learned thos from a woman who was in labor at my chiroprscyor.
