RSV Vaccine

My baby was born premature and at his one month check up they asked if i wanted to be referred for that vaccine. I said yeah because I’ve heard RSV is scary for babies. But now im like wait is this even a common vaccine? i don’t remember getting it for my daughter and also why would there be a lot of cases if there was a vaccine you know? I googled it and it says there’s not so now i’m like what are they trying to give my son. Has anyone gotten it for their baby?
