Does it matter how many naps my baby takes?
My baby is 3 months old and takes 4-5 naps/day. He sleeps for around 10 hours at night, with one wake up around 3am to eat. He’s in the 90th percentile for weight and height and seems really happy when awake and he’s hitting the milestones. But I’m reading all these articles that say you need to transition to fewer naps? And how it can be difficult to do that? I’m wondering why you’d need to do that if the baby seems to want more naps than what you’re trying to give him. I put my baby to sleep when he seems tired, and he goes to sleep. What am I missing?
