LED light therapy?
I want some extra “wow” & make my skin smoother by managing my pore appearance & getting a more even tone. Hoping to reduce bags under & around my eyes as all my attempts have been unsuccessful. I’ve been looking into the home LED light therapy “kits” & it’s always a mixed bag of opinions & anecdotes, have you or anyone you know given this a go? What was your experience? I know there are some really dodgy brands, so any recommendations would be absolutely wonderful & highly appreciated.
My current skin routine:
Squalene Cleanser (in the AM) micellar water (in the PM), Retinol in Squalene (AM & PM) & the Natural Moisturising Factors + HA (AM & PM) (all products from The Ordinary apart from the micellar water).
This combination is working & it looks FAR better than before I did this routine. I exfoliate 2-3 times a week, otherwise my skin is far too dry/flakey to work with. Every 2-3 weeks I dermaplane/shave off excess peach fuzz hairs which also gets rid of the dead skin. Very occasionally I’ll use the Salicyclic Acid 2% mask on problem areas. I’ve attempted stretching the time between exfoliating & it’s always unsuccessful, I just have chronically dry skin. My skin isn’t sensitive to any products, but it is to the weather changes. I don’t use anything with artificial perfumes.
