What to do when baby won’t eat?

Soooo like what am I suppose to do when my 12 month old won’t eat food food but I’m only suppose to give him 24 ounces of milk a day? Is this okay? He has been such a good eater for the past 6 months or so but the past few days it’s been a struggle getting him to eat much, even his favorite foods. Do I just let him be? Or do I keep making food after food at meal times trying to get him to eat something?

I just let my babies eat when they are hungry I never make food of off a schedule just dinner. Other than that my baby will let me know when she is hungry. I do always try solids before milk at this age.

Just let them be. They eat less some weeks and more other weeks. Teething, growth spurts, activity level, tiredness, filling up on milk….are all reasons for solid consumption changes.
After 1, milk should be limited to 16oz or less. 
Make sure you space out milk from solids. Most of the time when a 1 year isn’t eating solids properly, it’s from too much milk and getting too full for solids.

What i did is just tried a few new things to possibly get my girls taste buds going! Few new things I’ve tried are Mac and cheese(the shapes) and I’ll give her a fork but use her hand to poke the noodles, yogurt(Greek yogurt she loves), animal crackers, pieces of tortilla, rice, little pieces of chicken, pieces of turkey, shredded cheese. Just some ideas to maybe help! She doesn’t want to be spoon fed by me so I try to find mainly finger foods and it’s all trial and error. My doctor said it’s supposed to be 16OZ but my girl exceeds that and still has a really great food intake so I allow her to have the amount of milk she wants.
