Hey mamas, I just went through the scariest weekend of my life. Out of nowhere I started bleeding pretty heavy and I’m 13 weeks so I knew I was past the scary part but so confused on why it was happening. Blood with clots and all. I ended up going to the ER because I knew I’d worry all night and I scared my baby dad so I just felt it was good we go. Luckily ultrasound confirmed baby’s heart beat and we even saw her wiggling around. I was so confused still, but a little relief came. Dr. Discharged and warned that I am having a threatened miscarriage and to not worry, but prepare for the possibility. I basically put myself of bed rest until my OB was able to get me in 2 days later. Luckily when we went in she confirmed my cervix was still completely closed and didn’t look too inflamed. Ultrasound also confirmed everything was okay and again was able to see her move and hear heartbeat. She said sometimes this just happens and thinks it was the placenta shifting a bit as the baby grows. I was so scared but I do feel a lot better now and I’m hoping no more blood comes. I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced a threatened miscarriage and how the rest of the pregnancy went? Thanks for listening to my story I hope to get some responses ❣️
