**** thanks I don't know why I was overthinking, but we arranged a playdate of another day!!

I'll make this very short. My son got invited to a birthday party very short notice like 6 days before. Our car was already messed up party is 30 mins away. I was supposed to get the car fixed this weekend, but it's gonna end up being at the same time as the party. I told the mom what was up, but now she is offering to pick us up or just my son....okay I have 3 kids so me being stuck at a party the WHOLE time would keep me from my other kids longer so can't do that. I don't want my son with these people alone I don't know them, they look like great people but you never know right? I really appreciate everything and would love to meet them and get the kids together it's just not a good time right now....what would you say to her?
