Share your holiday gift ideas for kids

I got my kids iPads 🤷🏻 Got them refurbished so 2 cost less than 1 new one. They currently use my iPad and don’t use it terribly often, but I want it back and free from all their silly kid games so I can download my own silly crap.Other than that… my 6yo is getting a witch potion set I found on Etsy. She loves being a witch. Haven’t come up with anything more yet.

We’re getting our son, 16 months

We don't get very many gifts for our children. They actually don't have very many toys at all. We plan to get our 2 year old a Casting Crowns record since she loves the band. We'll also get her a toddler couch since she also loves having things her size to sit on. She'll get an outfit and a book. She's going to love sitting on her couch rocking her baby. Our 1 year old will get an outfit, a boxed book set that has some classic nursery stories, and 2 montessouri toys. They won't want for toys, the grandparents will get them a bunch of useless crap that they won't use and we'll donate a month or 2 later.

Both kids needed new bicycle helmets - so they get new ones in their favourite colour. They also get new hiking pants, and duvet covers. The rest of the family goes bananas with toys so I don't bother with that.

I got toy instruments for my kids, hamonica, a toy clarinet and nice tambourine, they were surprisingly affordable (amazon) and a few art supplies. (My kids are 4-10). Thats about it for us, we dont go crazy with tons of gifts.

I ordered from Fahlo. It’s a company that used to be called wildlife collections. You buy a bracelet with an animal you choose and it comes with a card with an animals name on it and some info plus a QR code so you can track that real life animal in the wild. Some of the money goes to the conservations to help save the animals , the bracelet is good quality and cute but the real gift is having you own animal to track .
