Confused

So I went to my GYN doctor to follow up with moving forward to TTC that was November 15th that I went to the doctor and I was 6 days late of my period my doctor took a pregnancy test and it came back negative so she gave me this medication for ovulation clomid but I haven't started my period yet and now it's 9 days late I took a test the day before yesterday and it still showing negative I have yet to see my period I don't know what's going on can anyone give me some helpful advice.
