Which stage was the hardest for you?

Which stage of parenting was the hardest for you? Everyone told me newborn stage was the hardest and if I could just “make it through the newborn stage” I would be alright but I am literally fighting for my life every day with my toddler🫠😅 I thought it would be easier by now but I would legit rather have newborn triplets than just 1 toddler LOL

Whatever stage you're slogging through currently will be the worst until you hit the next stage. I assume it gets better when they move out 🤷

Toddler stage was the worst lmfao because its still having baby needs but their mind is developing so they also have the ability to act on their impulses and the boundary pushing is a lot. It’s rewarding seeing the changes and the work you put in at that stage but it took the most patience for me and brought up a lot of “stuff” that I didn’t know I had issues with, for example rage. The toddler stage is where I gained my most resilience in my entire life lol

Newborn stage, but thats because my kids were terrible sleepers and I get depression/anxiety when sleep deprived. The other stages have been more trying in other ways (though I dont have teens yet, my oldest is 10) but at least on my end I have slept, showered, eaten etc so I can cope.

10-18 months kicked my butt lol. They’re turning into toddlers, aren’t good at communicating, have all the tantrums and big feelings that come with being a toddler but still some needs of a baby

I put newborn because I literally didn’t sleep for four months 😩 my son would wake up every 45 minutes to and hour till he was four months old and it was horrible

Toddler stage is actually the easiest for me lol have raised two toddlers that are 6 and 7 now and that was the least of my worries lol. Now I have 11 month old twins & the newborn stage was rough… 🫠

So far age 3 is proving to be the hardest right now, haven't gone through kid or teen yet but age 3 is worse than 2s for us. I'd rather personally not have enough sleep than deal with the fierce attitude and tantrums of the terrorizing 3s. But that's just me.
