What’s wrong with kids wearing light up shoes?? Serious question

I have seen on so many mom groups moms saying they’d never let their kids wear them as if the devil wears them i mean my daughter has been wearing those since 1.5 she only likes to buy sheos with lights it makes her happy she’s four now and I would like for her to be able to enjoy kid stuff in childhood I’ve gotten a few rude comments in real life which I genuinely don’t understand can someone help me understand where and when did this trend start to not kids have silly fun thjngs 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
