I’m embarrassed

So I just start seeing a new guy and he wants to go down on me. I’m embarrassed because I got hemorrhoids a while back and it’s external and embarrassing. Should I still let him do it and give him a heads up before heading south? Edited*** let me rephrase, I had hemorrhoids but it’s weird cause I haven’t had them in years but I have excess skin I guess from the hemorrhoids around my anus. Looking into the band ligation method to have it removed.
