Anyone have a successful vbac after covid?

I just got a positive covid test and I’m 20 weeks. My OB sent me a message and said delivery will now be between 37-38 weeks. I’m really wanting a vbac after my son’s emergency c section 4 years ago. I would love to hear success stories and I’ve heard of you have to be induced, vbacs rarely happen and it ends up in another c section

Covid shouldn’t have any impact on why you’d deliver early or not. I had covid twice during my last pregnancy and delivered a very healthy baby at 40 weeks vaginally. You can always switch doctors if you’re not convinced by his reasoning.

I had an induced vbac at 41 weeks with my second. I’m 18weeks with my third and am planning a second vbac, but want to go unmedicated this time. Is there a medical reason why your doctor wants to deliver so early? Is your doctor being supportive of your wishes? I had to fire my last OB at 39 weeks because she wanted to push a repeat c section on me and even scheduled one. Guess who didn’t show up.

I’d love to know the doctor’s reasoning! Informed consent is so important. Hiring a doula vastly improves your chances of a successful VBAC.

I had Covid twice my last pregnancy and a vaginal delivery. Not sure why you wouldn’t be able to have a VBAC
