autism signs but not autistic?

hi all ! want to educate myself a little, i see so many different things on social media that i don’t know what’s right and wrong, or what to worry or not worry about.

ASD has such a large spectrum of signs and symptoms, so it makes it hard to know unless you or your child get evaluated. i used to think the signs were completely or mostly non verbal, sensory issues, emotional & social issues, etc but i’m finding there is so much more and it’s all getting jumbled with normal behaviours.

for example; i’ve been seeing videos on facebook and tiktok where moms post “signs of autism in my __ year/month old” and some of them seem like such normal child things- like spinning in circles & enjoying gettin dizzy, stomping feet when excited, & even clapping. i always saw these things are normal aspects of a child’s development of their motor skills etc, but now it’s signs of autism? so when are these typical child skills considered autism & not normal?

thanks to anyone who can help!!!
