Hysterectomy
Anyone have advice?
I have a chronic condition that gets worse during my period (and several days before/after) and the days around ovulation. Which means I spend more days in really bad pain than in manageable pain. This condition also means I only really have one choice for birth control (no foreign objects and no estrogen) and the last time I was on depo I went suicidal.
After 3 miscarriages im pretty sure I don't want biological kids. All 3 were really traumatic and I dont ever want to experience that again. However a small part of me worries about what if I did regret it later? I dont think I would but I still worry about it, since its a permanent choice.
It seems like the best option for a sick person whose uterus makes her sickness worse and doesn't ever plan on being pregnant again. Have you had an elective hysterectomy? Whats your experience with it?
I just don't have many options here for things to use for BC and help with my whole illness situation.
