I’m confused

12/14/22 update: HCG dropped to 9 today, consistent with early miscarriage diagnosis. Thank you everyone for your well wishes.

Update: OB’s office called and hcg was at 16.5. I was told to come back in 2-3 days to recheck. 🙏🏽🤞🏽

Tuesday 12/6, my hcg was 17….Thursday hcg 15.3. I was told I was having a miscarriage. I was bleeding from Thursday to Saturday - dark red with some clots. Sunday and this morning just spotting. I took a pregnancy test this morning to make sure it was negative or faint line, but the line is darker than last week. Top picture is from 12/4 and bottom picture is from this morning. I’m getting lab work done today to recheck hcg, but I’m just confused as to why the line would be darker instead of lighter…has anyone been through this before?
