Should I give my daughter's dad another chance?

My daughter's father wants me to take him back after I found flirty text messages between him and his co worker who is like 10 years younger then him. 😐 I left the state and moved near my family. I have to still talk with him because of our daughter. I'm torn I want to be a family and I know my daughter misses her dad but I don't want to take him back and be jealous or have something like that happen again. It wasn't the first time I caught him texting another female. He says he'll change but after 7 years I doubt it. I still love him but I'm thinking it's just like a toxic bond because we have a child together. What should i do here? By the way we were never married and I talked with several lawyers before I made the move so it was legal and I wouldn't have this backfire on me. He keeps saying things that he'll change and he'll do whatever I need of him but most of our relationship he'd promise change and he'd go back to the same crap after a couple of months.
