What is happening with my daughters eye???

She’s had some gunk come out of it twice today. It had a slight greenish tint this second time. And now her eye looks slightly red. Her other eye is fine. She’s acting perfectly normal

My first thought is pink eye ? I know that’s contagious. But how would she get that? She does not go to daycare or preschool or anything, but she was around some older kids this weekend. I changed her bedding this weekend.

Does that sound like that’s what this is? How do I take care of it?
