Hsv or Boil?

I know I have HSV-1, but it has always presented in my mouth as cold sores. Three weeks ago I developed this boil, painful and it inflamed my labia minora. Today it finally drained. Could this be HsV-1 on the genitals or boil due to friction?

Please help, any suggestions might help. Just recently I'm starting to accept myself and the diagnosis for the cold sores in my mouth, but just thinking I might have to deal with it down there as well is making me anxious.
