Low ferritin?

My blood test showed a 5 in ferritin which is low but my iron and hemoglobin are normal. My doctor doesn’t seem concerned when i asked. He said my blood work was normal. Should I worry? Anyone has gone through this?

Ferritin in your iron stores. So currently, your body is getting enough iron to use, but not any extra to store. I also had this issue, hemoglobin was normal but ferritin was low (I think also 5). I was having a few symptoms of low iron so she told me to go ahead and start an iron supplement.
