Severely constipated 7m old

I’ve tried all the recommendations and nothing worked. She poops 1 a week if that and when she does she’s screaming to the top of her lungs. Her butt gets bruised and the poop is rock solid. What can I do?

My son suffered from constipation. We were told to put 5 ml of organic prune juice in his bottle at first. When that didn’t help, we were told to put Laxaday/ Restoralax in his bottle. We started with a tsp and adjusted it so that his stools were not too hard or too wet. We were told that it does not create a dependency and was in no way harmful. We still do this every day (we mix it in water now that he is older). My son has chronic constipation, so maybe your child only needs it a couple of times a week. I would speak with your doctor before trying it.
