Moved back bc inflation and we lived in CALI SAN DIEGO 😭 
Trying to tolerate grandparents “raising” my kids constantly telling me what to do. 
Even though I’ve mentioned a bunch of times nicely, to let me parent my own kids. 
Gives my child sugar/junks without permission (hides it sometimes) 
Technically we have our own area of the house. We are paying full rent, we just open the doors that connect our homes together… so I could close it any time.

Girl put your foot down and keep your kids in your area with the door closed. Boundaries aren't optional just because you live there. Those are YOUR kids and you can absolutely say enough is enough, "these are my kids and the rules I have for them WILL be respected." 
If you're living with people who you have to keep your kids hidden away from because they can't respect your boundaries you definitely should find a new living arrangement ASAP.

we live with my MIL, but pay a very large majority of the bills. we moved in to help her because she was about to lose her house. anyways, she USED to try to tell me how to parent. “baby needs socks” “do this” “do that” “don’t do that” key word is used to! probably only lasted for about the first week of my son being born, because i didn’t want to disrespect her in her own home. however when she started disrespecting me and invited random people over to see my week old newborn before i had even let my mom meet him, i lost it. she doesn’t disrespect me anymore, or even give advice cause i simply don’t want it. we do have a great relationship but she knows her place, because i showed her. you just need to put your foot down. they will back off, she knows that i think she did a shit job raising her own kids, seeing as how i’m still teaching a grown man basics like washing clothes or changing out the TP roll.. and until i finish reasoning her kid, and mine she has no right to speak to me about parenting! we don’t want the recipe to your mom peach cobbler bitch ✨✨✨✨
