Double stroller, is it worth it?

I’m pregnant with my 2nd and debating on if I should get a double stroller, I use a stroller with my first she’s 2 1/2 quite often to go to the park and sometimes to the store but I’m wondering how going to the store and using a double stroller would work out. 
For those who own a double stroller, is it worth it? Do you get your moneys use out of it? Thank you in advance!

We bought a used city mini for our 1 and 3 year old at the time. It's all terrain and it was awesome for us. Our kids are 3 and 5 and we will use it at the amusement parks or for a day trip.

Yes, i like having ours. If we go to the grocery store and the kids sit in the cart cool. But there are some places that dont have carts like the malls or parks. If i know there isnt going to be a cart i bring the double stroller. We have the chicco key fit and it fits in the bravo for 2.

Have you considered a skateboard attachment to your current buggy (if that’s possible)? We have the bugaboo fox and our children are also 2.5 years apart and we found that it was perfect to have our older child ride along with the buggy in bassinet mode. She felt like the “big kid” and also meant that she could practice walking longer distances but sit when she gets tired. Of course it’s no good if you want your older child to nap but for that if we plan on a long trip out and you’re with someone else you can take a light umbrella/travel stroller for the older sibling (if you have one?). Unless your child doesn’t like walking much, I think it’s not worth getting a double stroller unless you are planning to be out a lot and for long periods at a time and you can find a cheaper second hand one. Our oldest has become better and better with walking with time, and to be honest when you have a newborn you don’t tend to spend long periods outside with them at the beginning.

I have a wagon instead of a stroller. Obviously you can't use it with a newborn, but otherwise I absolutely love it. Plus they tend to be cheaper than double strollers

My kids were done with strollers around 3/3.5, I dont think youll get much use of it. We had one but my kids are 21 months apart, and we only used it for maybe a year.
