Menstrual like cramping??

For the past 2 days I’ve been having what it feels like menstrual cramps .. they seem to be getting stronger… are these Braxton hicks or contractions ? My body contracted without me knowing until I was in active labor my last 2 so idk .. literally feels like my vagina is going to fall out and tightening ..

I get all kinds of period like cramps, painfulish Braxton hicks and just uncomfortable Braxton hicks. Just keep your doctor in the loop and your care team will guide you. It was all normal for me.

I would go get checked, could be yeast, BV, UTI or even preterm labor. My rule of thumb is if I feel different and I’m not exactly sure what’s causing it, it’s best to get checked just in case

I've always been told Braxton Hicks aren't painful (mine are just uncomfortable tightening) and that menstrual type cramps are early contractions. But you should definitely know if they don't stop with a change of position or glass of water or if they start to get stronger. But what do I know, my body had no idea what it was doing with my first 😅
