What can I expect in my first IVF appointment?

Have our first appointment for IVF referral in the UK later this month. I'm 42 TTC for the first time, so nervous! Anyone been through it and can give me a heads up about what to expect in the first appointment with gyno dept at hospital, would really appreciate it as there's been no info and in the UK it's hard to get time with a doc.

My first visit when I started IVF included questions about my cycles, what we had tried, and pregnancy/loss history. There was a discussion about odds of conceiving naturally  based on age and options that could be taken based on all of our test results. I had an ultrasound and lots of blood drawn, and my SO was scheduled for Semen Analysis  before the follow-up. I had previously been diagnosed with PCOS and had a previous surgery to remove fibroids. My obgyn and endocrinologist's offices sent my records to my fertility specialist before my appointment.
