birth for your second? (big first baby)

What did you do? Do you regret what you chose?

My first I was told was small small baby. She was 8pounds exactly at 40 weeks 4 days. 
Needless to say I rolled my eyes when they told me my second was a very big baby. I was induced at 37 weeks due to my waters breaking at 35 weeks and the risk of infection out weighed keeping her in there! A very quick less than 2 hour labour and I was holding my tiny 7 pound 1oz baby girl. 
Ultrasounds can be horribly off. Most bodies are designed to birth and grow babies they can birth. I would not choose major surgery over a doctor saying big baby. Yes sometimes babies are truly too big but the odds of that being the case are far to slim for me to ever believe I need a c-section over vaginal birth. 
This is personal opinion. Not to offend anyone, but the stats are online about all this and I reccomend educating and reading about birth of all kinds!

i was induced with my first. i had a very traumatic birth experience. i’m now pregnant again & praying hoping wishingggg that i won’t have to be induced (preeclampsia the first time). it was extremely hard on my body. but obviously you do what you need to do. everybody is different!

My daughter was 8 pounds 6 ounces and she was considered a bigger baby but I had her vaginally. I did suffer some nerve damage.
This time around I was going to have an elective indiction because he was measuring big the whole time and I wanted to avoid further nerve damage. Unfortunately, he was much bigger than we thought and opted for a last minute elective c-section after weighing the pros and cons of waiting for natural labor. I am glad we did because he was even bigger than the ultrasound measurements and the doctor had a hard time taking him out. He would have gotten stuck in the birth canal had we had a vaginal delivery.
It's important to remember that people can push out big babies without issue. Weight isn't the only determining factor and Ultrasound measurements can be off a pound or two in either direction

I’d do what I could to have it vaginally. Those measurements can be off. They were off for mine by 2+ pounds. Glad I didn’t start thinking of changing to a c-section bc she was on the smaller side of normal.

My first was big 11lb 2oz & 23". They thought he was big big "7 almost 8lbs". My second, I was having natural and it turned into a C-section. Recovery for him was way worse. He was 10lb even and 22.5".

My first was not super big but he got stuck coming out. He was stillborn. That was so traumatic that I had an elective c section for my second and it was the best experience for me.

My first was 8lb 14oz at 9 days over I went into labour myself, second I was overdue so got induced due to being 12 days over she was only 7lb 11oz.
