I gave birth a week ago and knowing I won’t be able to have sex with my husband for 5 more weeks gets me upset because I feel less connected to him, gets me worried about him doing other stuff even when I already asked him and he already said he he won’t but I still don’t feel good about it. And super nervous
This is our first baby so everything is new to us

If you’re worried your husband will cheat on you because of 6 weeks without sex there are major issues with your relationship. In the mean time he can get himself off or you two can still be intimate without full on vaginal sex

What do you mean "doing other stuff?" There are still options for physical and emotional intimacy that you can still do if you're both interested. If you can't trust him not to cheat, that's super concerning.

Shoot, TMI but I let my man just ejaculate on my butt or boobs. He gets off just being able to grab my butt or boobs (although boobs were too sore so he couldn’t grab them as much). There are other ways to still please each other without having to have penetration. Either that or just have him watch some porn if you’re comfortable with that. Some are, some aren’t. Lol. Either way, people are sexual beings. It’s okay to want sex and to want to be pleasured. It’s not okay to be pushy with it though or suggest having sex sooner than you should after a baby.

First of all, you just had a baby so your hormones can be making you extra anxious. Take a deep breath and remember your body and mind just went through one of the most major events you can have. Don't pay attention to any of the harsh comments here,, your feelings are totally valid and comprehensive.

If what you're mostly worried about is feeling disconnected to him, try and incorporate a lot of intimate time. If he agreed not to pleasure himself then he obviously cares about your well-being, unlike many of the stories we hear here where the man is super selfish. 
Responsibly take care of your intimacy and use these 5 weeks to grow closer in other ways.. Have make-out sessions and pleasure yourselves without penetration. Have 10-15 minute date-nights in your living room. 
Pamper your relationship with candles, massages, movie watching when baby is asleep. 
There's freedom in restraint, so you guys not having sex might actually be a gateway to a more emotionally intimate growth.
Lastly, don't be too harsh on yourself or him and recognize you both have needs. I would usually say "Tough luck to him, you JUST had his baby" but it sounds like you also want to remain intimate so find ways.

I have already told my husband to get used to his hand for a while. If I can birth a basketball you can do this. 
Also I have heard it is 3 months of no sexual activity. 6 weeks seems short.
