6 month old throwing up

she’s been throwing up on and off for 4 hours. she had butternut squash purée today and probably too much milk i assume it could’ve been too much for her. she threw up everything and now is throwing up yellow bile. i talked to an on call physician and they said if it’s no fever just give some pedialyte and if she’s throwing up all tomorrow have her come in to the pediatrician. it’s just worrying she keeps waking up to throw up nothing and she’ll fall asleep before i can get her to drink some milk. could this be a stomach bug ? i feel like a food intolerance wouldn’t last this long.
