Money Issues…Help!

Hello! I (f22) have been seeing this guy (m24) for around a year and he’s great! We got together when I was in college and money was always tight so we didn’t go on a lot of dates (but I’d pay for gifts, groceries, etc.). Now that I’m out of college, I got a job back home (2 hours away) and have been making decent money! He doesn’t make a lot which I’ve understood, but I’ve become increasingly annoyed because he’s been living with his friend where he doesn’t pay rent and sometimes pays for groceries and says that he still doesn’t have gas money to come see me. I’ve been the one traveling to see him every time and even then I have to pay for most, if not all, the dates we go on. I don’t know if I’m being greedy or how to bring this up without sounding rude…any input??
