Is my period normal when it does this the first time?

Today marks the 6th day of my period. I usually go 5 or 6 days. In the beginning of my period. I was spotting brown discharge for a few days,and last night I thought I was getting over my period since I was spotting brown again last night and all day today until now. I am still having that heavy discharge but nothing heavy to use multiple pads.

I know I have PCOS, small fibroids. My doctor wasn't concerned about my fibroids since they were the size of a dime.

I'm sure everything is normal but I just never bleed for 6 days and by the 6th day of bleeding is usually very light showing the end of the period soon.
