Taking it day by day

Hi everyone,

I have gotten in a relationship with a really great guy. He kinda wanted to be in a serious relationship and I said yes because I'm interested in serious relationship only. The thing is that we got into it really fast and now we are having some issues. Anyway, he told me that we are going to take it day-by-day.

Does it mean it's not a serious relationship anymore or like it's more if a short term or what is it? I have started to overthink this a bit and I wanted to see what you thought.

If anyone has any advice, let me know please.
