What kind of sippy cup did you give your baby once they turned 1? How did you introduce it? How to go from formula to cows milk?

My son will be 1 next weekend, he is formula fed and uses advent bottles. He has a different cup that he uses at meal times to drink his water, it has handles. Just trying to see what y’all recommend.

Straw cup or open cup is best. You can start cup training with water at meal times. 
360 cups are fine but not as the main cup. It can cause confusion on how to drink from an open cup. So if you regularly give an open cup as well, then a 360 cup is fine! 
Transitioning to cows milk doesn’t even have to happen. Whole milk isn’t required so long as there’s enough servings of cheese and yogurt in babes diet. 
It is best to be off formula by 15m. 
It’s best to avoid putting cows milk into bottles. 
You can mix formula and whole milk in a straw cup and slowly reduce the amount of formula each time. This is a safe way to transition to whole milk.

My daughter LOVES these cups! I think it’s because the top mimics a bottle. We probably lucked out since we just started giving her the sippy one day and she drank from it right away.

As far as milk, I won’t be transitioning to cows milk as it’s not necessary. I will stock pile some frozen breast milk and continue to thaw it and mix it into his drinks for as long as I can but will stick with nut milks and other dairy substitutes via his foods

This is the one we started with. We slowly transitioned form formula to lactose free whole milk. We switched to hard spot sippys now because they’re easier to clean

A lot of people love the 360 cups(I did until it leaked so badly), straw cups are awesome, and Nuk sippy cups. With getting baby from formula to whole milk he will probably take better to it if you wean him onto it! I went right from no formula to whole milk and my girl did NOT like that so I would still make formula, put a bit of whole milk into it, next drink I’d do the same but add a little more of whole milk then so on! Now my girl is 18 months and will use any cup AND drink all whole milk!
