Ttc. Need help.

My partner and I have been ttc for 7 months now and nothing. I have pcos and my gynecologist said everything was normal with me and I should be able to conceive on my own. However if within 6 months I wasn’t pregnant I should visit her. My partner said we should wait a bit since we haven’t been having sex consistently every month. We have sex like 6 times per month. But there have been months were we have sex in my fertile phase. I’ve been using ovulation strips but have never gotten a positive. ( I haven’t been testing consistently). I am aware of a spike in my temperature a week before my period is to start and I have consistent pms. Even though lately my pms are getting less. I have a cycle of 31-32 days.

Can it be that I am not ovulating? Or do I ovulate later than I think? Should I visit my gynecologist)
