Chances he cheated ?

I have 2 1/2 weeks lefts (of pregnancy) and at my appointment this morning they told me I tested POS + for chlamydia last week (the paper said chlamydia/trich but they verbally told me Chlamydia) . Back in august my std test came back negative . He started working security at this clinic in February specifically for treatment for people who have tested positive for different stds with a warning when he got hired on to wear mask 24/7 and be careful using bathroom and sanitize often.

I called him to tell him I tested pos and he was quiet I go on about how the nurse told me as I was getting my blood pressure taken you can tell I’m shaking as I talk I can barely breathe. I’m like you have nothing to say and he’s like I’m thinking babe I’m thinking . I’m like you’re thinking not even reassurance you haven’t been with nobody nothing ?! And he’s like I’ve never had an std before so Ido what to do.

Eventually he said he didn’t cheat and told me to ask the dr if the results were accurate or the chances they got swapped and if he could get it from dirty toilet. My dr said you can only get it sexually and that the test wouldnt be a false positive . The rest I’d have to figure out with him . Then he text me this screenshot saying his part touches the toilet at the clinic when he’d do #2 and that he going to the clinic to get himself tested . He swears it’s a false positive.

What are the chances he cheated ? Like if a person with an std uses the restroom and he uses it sometime after that can he get it or that’s a myth …

We have a rule where if something is hard to talk about we are given 24 hours to figure out how to say it and for the most part it works for us but I am not waiting 24 hours today …his response is making him seem guilty . Why he couldn’t just text me he hasn’t been with anybody. He didn’t even accuse me or ask me if Ive been with anyone even tho I told him myself I hadn’t . Idk maybe I’m overthinking

@roxy he was like “wtf? ” “bro wtf” over and over before telling me to ask my dr questions . But silence before that . And he’s not a dr or anything at the clinic he does security at the clinic . On the floor where the nurses tell people their std results to keep them from going off on employees.

@jenee- idk who he cheated with but that be stupid if it was with someone he met up there

@maddie- that says that symptoms may not show for a while but if you have it you have it . I wouldn’t have been able to carry it for it to flare up later because may of 2022 I had bv and the clinic thought it was trich so I got treated for that . Then my results came back negative for trich
