Stomach bug during pregnancy

Hi mommas! ***TMI warning*** I know that this forum is not for medical advice but i’m just curious if anyone has had a similar experience. I do have an appointment with my OB tomorrow so I will be getting a doctors opinion soon :) Anyway, last night both my fiancé and I got some kind of stomach bug after eating at a steakhouse. His was only diarrhea last night however mine started when I woke up in the middle of the night with terrible stomach pain and cramping. I ended up throwing up which hasn’t happened during my pregnancy but what was weird was the cramping that accompanied it shortly after. I couldn’t take a bowel movement at that point but my cramps felt like contractions. Veryyy heavy and painful and would last a few seconds and then leave and come back every 5 minutes or so. I thought I was miscarrying at that point it was so bad. I ended up having toilet problems this morning and for the most part the cramping is gone. All I have now is some mild (normal for my second trimester) cramping. I’ve had no bleeding thankfully. Should I book an ultrasound just to make sure everything is okay with baby?
