My best friend doesn't want to hear my kids in the background

While on the phone. Im a new sahm mom and i have one 9 year old and a 1 year old. My friend just told me that its distracting and triggering to hear my baby talk or fuss on the phone so could i not have them around...the 9 year old respects my phone times but the one year old is a baby.... my feelings are hurt. Am i wrong to feel like she doesn'tunderstand or do i need to make space for quiet conversations? Update: we've been friends for 10+ years but got close around the time my oldest was 4, so 5 years ago! I didnt know what to say so i went to the bathroom, gave my husband the baby and talked to her. My husband thinks its super weird and my feelings are hurt because i don't have close family so she has been it but, where the hell am i supposed to put the girls??? Lol like yall said, they live with me.... Edit 2:i should give a little more perspective so she doesn't sound so cold, we both have the same mental illness and she's decided not to have children so hearing my girls laughingin the background is too much for her...
