What to do with baby stuff if you're infertile
So for the first like year of my TTC journey we bought a lot of stuff in preparation... A high chair, camp cot, clothes, toiletries, blankets, etc.
Over the years it's become more and more apparent that it's just not happening for us... Every year there's a new problem and no fixes are working for us. Clomid failed. Laparoscopy failed. HSG failed to unblock tubes. Hostile environment, sperm being killed like it's an ambush... No money for IVF or further surgery as it's all private and EXPENSIVE.
So unless a literal miracle happens and my tubes magically unblock themselves, our TTC journey is over.
We are going to be moving soon and in my packing of the house, I stumbled upon my baby box. And of course, spent the rest of the day crying and wondering what to do with the stuff.
Giving it away breaks my heart because that really and truly signifies the end of it. Keeping it is just a reminder that they'll never get put to use (except the toiletries - Dove baby wash makes an excellent face wash evidently).
For those of you who have been in my shoes, what did you do?
